Mirabello Pinot Grigio 2012

Classically delicate Pinot Grigio, with lovely floral and citrus notes on the nose, followed by a gossamer-light wash of apple, pear and spiced lychee. A super example of this justifiably-popular wine style. Recommended!

Pavia is a prosperous town in the north of Italy, around twenty miles south of Milan. The grapes for Mirabello are hand-harvested from hillside vineyards, and the juice is fermented in stainless steel to retain primary, fruity aromas. Six months' lees ageing adds complexity.
