All of the fruit here comes from the single-block Kerseley estate, in the Dillons point area of famous Marlborough, just 500 metres from the sea. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in stainless steel using just natural yeasts.

25,000-hectare Marlborough is easily New Zealand's biggest wine region, pumping out three-quarters of Kiwi wine each year. Perhaps surprisingly, large-scale winegrowing didn't begin here until the 1970s, when Brancott (née Montana) arrived. The Marlborough Sauvignon style - (in)famous for its glorious extroversion and lack of subtlety - was born, and exploded onto the world scene over the following two decades.
