A real hidden gem, this. Soft and fruity style that shows delicate aromas of apple and nectarine, with a weighty, plump palate of stone fruit, lanolin and ginger. Gentle, textured offering that shows great varietal typicity for this quirky variety.

Lovely on its own or with chicken fricassee

Crafted solely from the fruit of young Garnacha Blanco vines, grown at 650m above sea level. White Grenache is a drought-resistant, low-acid variety that is widely used across Mediterranean France (including in white Châteauneuf du Pape) and north-eastern Spain. Rarely oaked, and tending to high alcohol (though not here), varietal examples like Latido de Sara are relatively uncommon.

Navarra is a Spanish DO (wine region) just north of Rioja. It's capital is Pamplona, (in)famous for the 'running of the bulls.' Traditionally a rosado (pink) region, today it focuses more on fruity, dense, often-oaky reds made from Tempranillo, Cabernet, Merlot and Garnacha (Grenache). Most of Navarra's vineyards cling to the undulating lower slopes of the Pyrenees mountain range, which separates Spain from France.

Nice, dialed-in fruit with a layered and fresh, crisp texture. Pear and apple builds through white almond. Neat wine. Drink now. 90 points.
