Central Valley, Chile

Brilliant yellow colour with greenish tones, the nose is fresh with hints of pineapple, grapefruit and lime. These continue on the palate with distinct flavours of pear, as well as hazelnut and honey, before finishing with a refreshing crispness.
A past winner of 'Chilean Winery of the Year', Santa Alicia have been producing wines in the heart of Maipo Valley since 1954. David González, an inveterate perfectionist with thirty years' experience, is chief winemaker. With grapes from three select communes, a state of the art winery, and judicious use of the finest American and French oak barrels, we believe the wines represent the highest price/quality ratio in Chile.
Much of the grapes for this wine are sourced from the Maipo region, which surrounds Chile's capital Santiago. The Central Valley region runs for 400km south of Santiago, where plantings are dominated by the well known "international varieties".
