Greenhough Sauvignon Blanc 2008

Aromas of passionfruit and ripe citrus with a nettle, herbal edge. The palate is full and juicy showing a complex interplay of ripe, sweet fruits and lively, zesty, mineral freshness.

Greenhough (green-hoff) is a family owned vineyard and winery established in 1991. Located at Hope, near Nelson at the top of the South Island, the vines are planted in free-draining, clay rich soils beneath the foothills of the Richmond Ranges. 

Fruit was harvested from the Avery and Marshall Vineyards in Hope.
