Tranquil, reviving blanc with soft, lightly-fruity aromas, elegant weight and lovely flavours of guava, quince and fresh hay. Elegant and juicy, with great balance and a brisk, dry finish. Totally charming!

Try with pulled pork tacos.

Anjou is an affordable wine region around the city of Angers, in the western Loire. Stylistically diverse, it makes red, white and rosés in all major styles - dry, sweet, still and sparkling. The grape here, Chenin Blanc, is a versatile variety that has been grown in France for 1,300 years, although the world's largest producer of Chenin is in fact South Africa, where some very high-quality examples exist. California grows more Chenin than France too, but mainly for the commercial end of the market.
