Navarra, Spain

Saturated purple complexion with medium weight and thrilling flavours of inky black fruits, mocha, mint and cola, with a lick of natural fruit sweetness on the rich, long finish. So yum!

Pair with chorizo and red pepper lasagne.

Made from a blend of old variety Graciano (60%) and Garnacha/Grenache (40%), this tasty red is oaked for 8 months in French and American 300l barrels, 30% of which are first-fill.

Navarra is a Spanish wine region immediately north of Rioja. It's capital is Pamplona, famous for the 'running of the bulls.' Traditionally a pink wine region, today it specialises more in fruity, sometimes-oaky reds made from Tempranillo, Cabernet, Merlot and Garnacha (Grenache). Most of Navarra's vineyards cling to the lower slopes of the Pyrenees, which divide Spain and France.
