Classic Rhone varieties Grenache and Syrah are carefully sourced for a superior Vin de Pays.

Type: Red

Country: France

Alcohol: 13%

Style: Fresh, fruity

Size: 750ml

Drink By: 2012

A delicious medium-bodied red with luscious plum and strawberry fruit on the palate.  Soft, fruity and very drinkable, yet serious enough to accompany food. Cuvee Jean Paul Rouge is made predominantly from a blend of Grenache and Syrah from the Vin de Pays de Vaucluse.

Drink with hearty food such as grilled meats and casseroles. Also great with BLTs, pizzas and medium mature, hard cheeses.

Curious Wines is convinced that the Cuvee Jean-Paul range cannot be matched for quality vs. price. An outstandingly good buy.

Tasting notes for Cuvee Jean-Paul Rouge VDP 2009

Light-medium ruby red.

Red fruits - strawberry and raspberry - and a savoury hint of chocolate.

Medium bodied, dry, refreshing red fruits and plum. Nicely rounded, easy drinking and a good food wine.

Matt, Jan 10 (2008 vintage)
