Elegant, extremely aromatic, charmer with fresh, sweet red fruits and subtle notes of coffee bean, earth and cedar wood. A real classic!

A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot matured for one year in French oak barriques of varying ages. 

Built in 1870, Château du Glana is propitiously placed on Bordeaux's Route des Grands Vins, running parallel to the Gironde estuary and opposite famous Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. Owned by brothers Ludovic and Julien Meffre, Christophe Olliver of the Dubourdieu group is consulting oenologist. 

Saint-Julien is a small but prestigious region of the Haut-Médoc district of Bordeaux, squeezed between the more famous appellations of Pauillac and Margaux. Permitted grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
