Château Bauduc Bordeaux Rosé 2016

Bordeaux, France

Bauduc proprietor and winemaker Gavin Quinney on his flagship pink: "We harvest blocks of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon  in the cool of night and press the grapes straight away for a lighter, Provençal-style rosé. Bone dry and fruity, it’s a sort of St-Tropez meets Bordeaux. Now listed at Gordon Ramsay’s, Rick Stein’s and Hotel du Vin, our pale rosé is a summer quaffer but great with spicy food all year round."
Château Bauduc is a pretty 80-hectare estate, with woods and parkland surrounding the family home and its Merlot, Cabernet, Sémillon and Sauvignon vines. Run by Gavin and Angela Quinney, it is a high-profile producer that is much admired by the wine trade and press.

Rick Stein

"A word of warning about this pale, dry and fruity rosé - it's very gluggable. Another winner from Gavin and Angela Quinney at Château Bauduc."

James Lawther MW

"The freshness is what appeals - delicious!"
