Campo Flores ORGANIC Verdejo-Sauvignon 2016

La Mancha, Spain

Buy Now:

A bright straw-coloured white with appealing notes of grapefruit, pear and honeysuckle. Fresh, light and easy drinking.
Great with stir-fried prawns, mango salad or battered fish.
Blended from organically-grown Verdejo (60%) and Sauvignon Blanc (40%) grapes grown by farmers in the Cuenca part of La Mancha, who cultivate their crop in the traditional way, tending old bush vines (en vaso) on sandy-chalk soils where no pesticides or fungicides are needed due to the punishingly hot climate.
La Mancha is the world's biggest single delimited wine region, encompassing a jaw-dropping 30,000km². Located 60km SE of Madrid, the extent of its DO-classified vineyards alone exceeds that of all of Australia's combined!
Alcohol: 12%
Style: Crisp, fresh, juicy
Closure: Screwtop
Drink by: 2019
