Stony scents of chalk and seashell intermingle with fruitier nectarine and pear notes. The firm palate is bracing and dry, with textbook cool-climate Chardonnay spirited acidity. Invigorating and brisk, with beautiful finesse, balance and poise.
Great with oysters, fish and chips or moules marinières.
Crafted from 100% Chardonnay (the great white grape of Champagne, Chablis and Burgundy) grown on marl-limestone soils in the premium, misty, northern Italian region of Piemonte. Made in a classic Chablis style, the wine is fermented in stainless steel before being aged on its lees (yeast cells) for four months. This is an unoaked Chardonnay.

Azienda (wine farm) Bricco dei Guazzi is located in the small Piemontese village of Olivola - population: 100. The property stands on top of a hill ('bric' in the local dialect), encircled by 30 hectares of vineyards, and includes a century-old cedar tree (the company's symbol), restaurant and bustling wine resort.
