Nice pale-straw colour with a gentle nose of yellow apple, melon and musk. The light-bodied palate is beautifully fresh and round, with luscious stone fruit flavours balanced by a lick of spice and a spine of clean, refreshing citrus. Yum!

Drink on its own or try with fish goujons with skinny chips and roasted aubergine.

Chenin Blanc is a versatile white variety whose ancestral home is France's Loire Valley but which has been important in South Africa for many years, making wines in all major styles - sweet, sparkling, table and fortified. More premium examples are among the most long-lived wines in the world while more everyday bottles - like this one - are made to be quaffed young. Though not as much as formerly, Chenin is sometimes known as ‘Steen’ in South Africa.
