Glaetzer Heartland Case Deals until Sunday only + NEW Spice Trader
WHEN HE’S NOT WOOING ROBERT PARKER with blockbuster Barossan reds, Ben Glaetzer has plenty to indulge himself in other projects and South Australia’s other great wine regions.
HEARTLAND is a collaboration between Ben, Grant Tilbrook and Scott Collett (of our own Woodstock fame), focused on the vineyards and fruit of Langhorne Creek. Against the Shiraz-dominated Barossa, Langhorne sees a more diverse range of grapes grown, including Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay, with the more maritime, ocean-influenced climate encouraging growth of these cooler-climate varietals.
The two most-planted grapes, Shiraz (of course) and Cabernet Sauvignon come together in Spice Trader, a boisterous melange of blueberries, blackberries and currants with waves of spice, menthol and charcoal bringing Langhorne-characteristic savouriness and complexity. As ever with Glaetzer, you’re guaranteed BIG expression and divine drinkability.
We’ve six Heartland wines as part of our current Australian sale with limited-time case deals now on three Ben specials: Directors’ Cut Shiraz, 95-point Directors’ Cabernet and, for the first time in Ireland, new Heartland flagship ‘One’.
Our 20% off Australia promo will continue through July (while stocks last); the Heartland Case Deals end this Sunday.
