Burgers and Barbera, anyone? In a momentous first, we’re hosting a summer version of our winter wine fair on June 20th.

The venue once again is the centrally-located Bowery but this time we’ll be commandeering its lofty Rooftop Bar, which enjoys breathtaking views of the Peace Park below.

This airy, garden-like terrace is open to the skies above so we can tan as we taste under the roasting June sun and, in the unlikely event of rain, there is a magic roof we can pull across – so all eventualities are covered.

The fair will be the perfect opportunity for curious wine lovers and likers to sample the dozens of new wines and vintages we’ve welcomed to our tender bosoms since the November shindig.

As we know, wine tasting is hungry work, but nobody’s belly will go unlined or unfilled as the Bowery will be serving up juicy sausages and other barbecue delights throughout the evening. If you’re looking for a wine match for your hotdog we will have four helpful wine experts on hand.

Roll up! Roll up! If there was one event we ran last year that captured folks’ imaginations, it was the Curious Mystery Bus Tour. Well, we’re up to our old capers again.

On Thursday 23rd May, we’ll be taking a bus load of Curious Wine Club members on a mystery tour to a top-secret location in Cork (last year it was Aperitif in Kinsale). You’ll depart Cork City at 7.00pm, be taken to a secret location for a wine tasting and plenty of hearty grub, and be dropped back to the city (centre and Curious warehouse) for 11.00pm.

We didn’t blab then and we won’t blab now – you won’t know where you’re going until you get there. But if you’re curious – and we mean really, truly curious – you don’t want to miss this one, you’re guaranteed a great night’s craic. BOOK HERE.
