If you’re having the lads around for an afternoon of football and you fancy putting on a bite to eat that will satisfy the caveman inside of you and your fellow hunter gatherers, look no further. This easy snack/meal will appeal to you as well – football is not a necessary ingredient (although it does add to the occasion and may indulge you in some manly banter).

Well, let me just say that Niall’s knocked this pretty much on the head with reaching for a couple of bottles of Cobra beer, but maybe you decided to whip up this treat on a Friday night for you and your partner after a long week at work. In that case, you’ll not better a good Chilean Malbec, like the Santa Alicia, or a big, dark Barossan Shiraz, such as the Earthworks or the Heartland, to settle your nerves and help digest that gorgeous red meat.
